Septic Tank Bristle Filter

Improve septic system performance with the SIM/TECH Septic Tank Bristle Filter. Designed for easy installation and replacement, the filter is completely disposable—simply slide out the used filter, place it in the supplied plastic bag, and slide in a new one.

The hydro-dynamically designed, non-directional bristles allow unrestricted effluent flow while promoting biological maturing and sloughing to maximise septic tank efficiency. With no moving parts, locking mechanisms, or cleaning required, the Bristle Filter provides reliable, low-maintenance filtration without clogging.

The unique triangular polypropylene bristles, wound around a stainless steel core, create over 750 metres of filtration media, 5,200cm³ of open area, and 14,290cm² of filtering surface area. This design more than doubles the filtration surface compared to traditional filters, delivering flow rates of over 4,500 litres per day while filtering particles down to 1.5mm.
